The updated livery for 2016 Royal Enfield bikes has been leaked before the official launch. This is according to sources in India where the bikes are produced, and we have the annotated images to show you exactly what’s new.
For 2016 Royal Enfield will be updating the colours and graphics of the Classic, Electra and Bullet models. The Thunderbird and Continental GT models will continue unchanged.
The Classic 350 will be available ‘Chestnut Red’ and ‘Marshal Green’ (tank, mud guards, side panels), with touches of black (head lamp and tail light casings, forks, frame). The single seat and the optional pillion seats are tan, and the whole package has a nice retro look about it. The Classic 350 is currently offered in ‘Lagoon Blue’, ‘Ash’, ‘Black’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Maroon’ colours.
The Classic 500 will hit the stores in a new ‘Squadron Blue’ colour (fuel tank, headlamp casing, side panels, front suspension cover tube, mudguards, the frame, swing-arm and the engine mounting brackets). The Classic 500 is currently offered in ‘Classic Black’, ‘Classic Tan’ and ‘Classic Silver’ paint jobs.
The Electra 350 will be offered in ‘Meridian Blue’ and ‘Marsala Red’ colour schemes (fuel tank, side panels and headlamp casing). The frame is black and the rest of the components will continue to be highlighted with a chrome finish. The seat is also expected to get a new Rexine cover. The Electra 350 is currently offered in ‘Red’, ‘Black’ and ‘Silver’.
The Bullet 500 will be available in ‘Athena Grey’ (fuel tank, headlamp casing, side panels, front suspension cover tube and mudguards). The frame is black and the seat is expected to get a new Rexine cover. The Bullet 500 is currently offered in shades of ‘Forest Green’ and ‘Black’.
