Spy Shots: Royal Enfield Conti test bike out on the road.

This is the 2017/18 Royal Enfield Continental GT out in final on-the-road consumption testing.

Or pictures are from the same location that gave us the first look at the KTM 800 Enduro (which they’ll call the 790… natch) last week – and as a result of the prime location our snapper managed to bag a few different angles of this cafe racer-type-roadster as it came past with a couple of different riders putting in the miles on the mule.

In truth, the mule bike doesn’t look very different at all to the current Continental GT but the tank bag is carrying recording equipment which suggests that this model, Euro 4 compliant, is out bagging the numbers for things like exhaust emissions, mpg and oil useage.

What these images do give us is a look at the new GT which, thankfully, doesn’t look different to the current one.

We’d have liked some bar-end mirrors though. Just a thought.
