Video: Marquez vs Pedrosa on Honda Super Cub 110’s

After a hard-fought MotoGP season, it was time for World Champion Marc Marquez and teammate Dani Pedrosa to let off some steam racing mopeds in Japan.

The Honda mopeds were fully decked out in Repsol livery just like the championship-winning Honda RC-V race bikes used in MotoGP. The Super Cub 110 machines they’re riding are powered by a single-cylinder 109.1cc overhead-cam engine that produces 8bhp and 6.2 lb-ft of torque.

Despite starting at the back of the pack, Pedrosa and Marquez were quickly battling it out for the lead – and it looks like they were having plenty of fun, with Marquez ripping a burnout at the starting line, randomly turning on his turn signal during the race, and skids into the barriers after the race is over.
