Bell Helmets unveil new modular flip-front lid for 2018

Iconic helmet manufacturer, Bell has unveiled its new 2018 collection – and there’s a new modular lid in the range.

Looking to the year ahead, Bell has launched a swathe of new graphics for its existing helmets, and a range of new models too. Interestingly, the American brand has introduced its first modular helmet to the market – which is a huge departure from its race oriented history.Made entirely of fiberglass, the new modular Bell SRT modular, flip up style helmet comes with a removable/washable anti-bacterial interior, a drop down sun shield, a panovision visor,with class one optics, recessed EPS speaker pockets – and it’s glasses compatible too. Plus the lid comes with an industry-leading five-year warranty.There’s also new graphics for the Bell Star and the top of the range Bell Pro Star and Race Star helmets. These lids are equipped with the FLEX protection system, which is designed to manage the impact energy in the three impact scenarios possible. The Star model is equipped with the MIPS system (Multidirectional Impact Protection System), which helps to reduce rotational energy derived from impact.
