Artist imagines a pair of Royal Enfield 650 Scramblers

Late last year, Royal Enfield unveiled a duo of all-new 650 twins at the EICMA motorcycle show – and now, render experts, Motosketches, has reimagined them as a pair of Scramblers.

Admittedly, there’s been no official word from RE – and as far as we know, the Indian-based brand isn’t working on an off-road oriented version of its 650s. But, it’s not too much of a stretch to suggest that there could be one in the works – particularly considering the successes of Triumph and Ducati with their respective ranges of retro-inspired, knobbly tyre clad metal.

The first render, with the dual-paint, yellow-white fuel tank, has been christened as Royal Enfield Twin Scrambler Sport. It features a tall set front fender, USD telescopic forks and a larger front wheel. Its side panel draws inspiration from the flat-tracking world – and on the other side is a scrambler style, high-mounted exhaust.

The second render, christened the Royal Enfield Twin Scrambler Classic, gets a proper retro makeover. There’s a short fender covering the front wheel, a lovely dual tone paint job and a tall-set exhaust. Apart from that, the Classic shares the same USD telescopic front forks and a larger front wheel.

We reckon the pair of Scramblers look spot on – and wouldn’t take too much to build. Now it’s over to Royal Enfield…
