An anonymous British millionaire has put up his new limited edition Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale as a competition prize – and it could be yours if you’ve got a fiver to spare.
Just 1,500 Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale’s are being made by the iconic Italian manufacturer, and now one of the bikes (worth £35,000 is being offered as the main prize in an online competition raising money for a range of UK charities, including Blood Bikes.
With a top speed of 200mph, a new MotoGP-style frame and some of the most advanced electronics in the world, Ducati’s new V4 Panigale has received rave reviews since its launch in 2018.
The businessman behind the idea, who wants to remain anonymous, is already offering his own house as a prize in another online fundraising competition. He said: “One thing led to another. I’m already offering my house in a competition so when this opportunity came along I thought let’s give it a go. The bike is incredible and a joy to ride but it’s also a real collectors’ item as there are only 1500 in existence. We thought a competition would be a great way to raise money for Blood Bikes, a charity that does wonderful work.”
The main prize also includes leathers and an X-lite helmet worth £1,000. Nine runners up will each receive a reduced weight and compact size X-lite X-803 Ultra Carbon helmet. The closing date for entries is Sunday September 30. Tickets are £5 plus a 50p booking fee – and you must be aged 18 or over to take part. However, it’s worth noting that only twenty per cent of the money raised through the competition will go to charity.
