Ahead of the official launch of Kawasaki’s new Z H2 on October 23, leaked images have emerged which gives us a first look at the new supercharged streetfighter from the Japanese factory.
Following on from Kawasaki’s third video teaser of its latest supercharged machine (which showed us nothing more than a silhouette) – leaked images of the new Z H2 are doing the rounds on the web. The bike’s crated up ready to be transported, so it’s quite difficult to get a really good idea of what it looks like. But there are a few detail shows which offer a good look at its front and rear end.
The images show the new Kawasaki Z H2’s front end – and it looks pretty similar to the one on the current Z1000. Aside from that, you can see adjustable clutch and brake levers, and a smart TFT dash. The shots of the rear show that the new Z H2 will come with split seat – as well as confirming the bike’s name with a Z H2 logo.
At the minute, we’ve not seen any official technical specifications from the factory – but if the rumours doing the rounds are anything to go by, we should expect the Kawasaki Z H2 to be powered by the same 998cc, inline four-cylinder engine as the Ninja H2. That means we should be expecting power figures fairly close to the Ninja’s 231hp and 141Nm.
With the official launch scheduled for October 23, we’re not going to have to wait too much longer to find out everything about the new Kawasaki Z H2.
