VIDEO: What do YOU think? Is THIS the next generation DR Big from Suzuki?

Suzuki’s released a couple of teaser videos to drum up a bit of excitement for its new model launch at EICMA on November 5. And the second hints that there’s a new DR Big on the way.

Here's the engine casing and a glimpse of the bash plate for Suzuki's new DR BIG.

We’ve been telling you for months that Suzuki’s gearing up to release a reimagined version of its iconic DR Big – and it looks like we were right, with the Japanese factories second teaser for the EICMA show giving us a sneak peek at Suzuki’s newest big off-road ready adventure machine.

Looking at its adjustable screen, large fuel tank, hand guards, bash plate and sturdy footpegs – it’s quite clearly a serious bit of kit, taking a significant step away from Suzuki’s slightly softer edged V Strom.

First released in 1988, Suzuki’s DR 750 S Big was built predominantly for racing – but became a hugely popular choice for adventurers looking for a serious bit of off-road kit, with a big fuel tank and plenty of room for luggage. And to this day, the large capacity DR still has a legion of fans around the world.

And considering Suzuki’s recently released Katana, it’s really not too much of a stretch to imagine the factory reintroducing another iconic machine to the stable. We really hope it’s the DR Big. Thankfully, we’re not going to have to wait too much longer to find out, with the big reveal set for November 5 in less than a couple of weeks’ time.

Suzuki's gearing up for the big reveal of its new machines for 2020 at the EICMA show on November 5. We think one of the new bikes will be a re imagined DR BIG.
