Thanks to ARMR Moto’s Kids Jacket and Trousers, junior pillion riders can now benefit from the same technical materials used in the “Grown-Up” range
The KJ4 Kids Jacket has an outer shell in POLY TEK 600DN fabric that is super-tough but flexible; this is backed by a waterproof and breathable DRY TEK membrane layer and making sure that the youngsters are kept toastie is a detachable Thermoline liner.
Most road users will give a motorcycle more consideration if they see a child on the pillion and making sure that they’re caught in the headlights are Scotchlite piping and VISION TECH reflective panels.
The front closure uses a full-length YKK zip with storm flap. As kids of the same age come in different shapes and sizes, collar and cuffs are fully adjustable as is the waist. The arms feature a unique extension panel to extend the life of the garment as the child grows. Two hand-warmer and two chest pockets are provided with a waterproof wallet pocket inside.
Sizes are 6-8 years, 9-10 years and 11-12 years and the Kids Jacket is available in black/camo for £69.00 SRP.
Zip linked to the jacket are the KT4 Kids Trousers in matching black/camo colourway. Using all the same materials as the jacket, the trousers feature detachable braces, adjustable waist and ankle closures, and slant hip and cargo pockets. Here again, with kids, one size definitely doesn’t fit all so the option of braces allows the ultimate flexibility and again the length of the leg can be extended. And the cargo pockets provide space for those small items that kids can’t bear to be parted from.
Trousers cost £69.99 SRP. For more info go to www.tri-motive.com
