DVSA confirms all motorcycle testing suspended due to lockdown

THE Driver Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has confirmed that all motorcycle tests and booked training sessions are suspended for the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The news comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown, from November 5 until December 2.

Motorcycle testing and training centres will remain closed during that time, and should some restrictions stay in place, they may stay closed beyond December.

The closures mean theory tests will also be suspended.

The DVSA tweeted a statement: “Following the Government announcement on tougher national restrictions from Thursday, driver and rider training and tests will be suspended in England from 5 November until 2 December 2020.
