Video: Watch What Happens When You Grind Away a Motorcycle’s Engine

Madrid ad agency espadaysantacruz put together a very slick film for 3M to show off 3M’s new class of Cubitron II abrasives. Setting up timelapse cameras, the team built a machine to grind away a motorcycle’s engine, one layer at a time.

It’s essentially a real-world cutaway illustration, done millimeter by millimeter. Watch the whole thing below, and check out some of the other work by espadaysantacruz.
