Video: Apocalyptic near miss for biker at Chinese road junction

There’s near misses and then there’s nearly being squished into a fine paste by two lorries crashing into your big scooter at 30mph…

Check out this amazing, if somewhat grainy. footage from CCTV cameras in Nantong, China.

In the film you can see a scooter rider pull up to the junction and then drop his bike and run as two huge lorries appear in shot sliding sideways after colliding further along the road.

Miraculously, the rider wasn’t hurt at all in the accident. Speaking to the local news afterwards he said: “I saw two vehicles coming flying towards me so I left the bike and ran. If I hadn’t then I would have been killed.”
