Michael and his brother William both ride replica Suzuki XR69’s from the early 1980s, based on the bikes that originally competed in the F1 category (now know as WSBK). The bikes have been replicated and updated with the help of the Suzuki Vintage Parts Programme – the current incarnations feature a T45 steel tubular chassis that encloses a GSX-R1100 (up to 1216cc and with about 160-170bhp) engine and a hand-built swingarm from Pro Drive for Team Classic Suzuki. They also feature K-Tech suspension and magnesium Dymag CH3 wheels and Dunlop D212GP Pro tyres.
