Cecil Sandford’s ex-works TT and World Championship-winning 1957 F.B. Mondial 250cc Grand Prix Racer is going under the hammer at Bonhams Spring Sale next weekend – offering collectors to get their hands on a rare piece of motorcycling history.

This is a very rare opportunity to obtain a World Championship and Isle of Man TT-winning motorcycle of great historical and technical interest, which represents the pinnacle of Grand Prix engineering in its day. In fact, F.B. Mondial even donated one of these bikes to Honda, helping the Japanese brand to kick off its own racing department…
