The video starts with a look at a katana sword before switching to a frontal shot of the headlight. We were worried that would be all we’d get, but thankfully Suzuki added a quick glimpse of the 2019 Katana in motion towards the end of the clip. That’s not all – below the radiator, we can see four header pipes and an engine that resembles the GSX-S1000′s inline-four powerplant – and even its chassis appears to be a match for that of the GSX-S. The video also confirms LED lighting, inverted forks with Brembo brakes, and a tyre-hugging swingarm-mounted fender/plate-holder/turn signal mount.

All we know is we can’t wait to finally see it in the flesh. And thankfully we won’t have to wait much longer, with the 2019 Suzuki Katana making its official debut on October 2nd at INTERMOT.
