Leicestershire-based motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph, is opening its doors for a special series of factory tours as part of the Triumph Live festival this July. For one day only (Friday 11 July 2014) bike fanatics and families alike can visit the birthplace of modern motorbikes and get a taste of how the UK’s leading high-capacity manufacturer develops and builds its iconic range with a Triumph factory tour.

Alongside exploring the facilities and meeting some of the staff involved in carefully crafting Triumph’s market-leading range, visitors can watch how each motorcycle goes from frame to finished product and even view the quality testing at the end of the process.

Exclusively available from the Triumph Live website, the factory tour tickets can be ordered as part of the event’s entry package. Numbers are limited and visitors must be able to make their own way to the factory in Hinckley, Leicestershire, as well as pre-selecting one of nine time slots.

“As the most well-known British biking brand, Triumph receives hundreds of requests from fans to visit the factory and see how our iconic models are made,” commented Gareth Bright, event manager for Triumph Live.

“Once every two years, as part of Triumph Live, we throw open the factory doors for one day only and show visitors how we make our bikes. This is a fantastic opportunity, an absolute must for both Triumph fans and motorcycle fanatics.”

Visitors to the Triumph Live 2014 festival, which takes place at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire, on Saturday 12 July 2014, will also be able to take part in a series of celebrity ride-outs led by comedy legend Rufus Hound.

“Rufus is a committed rider and a huge fan of the Triumph range,” added Bright. “Throughout Triumph Live 2014, he’ll be leading a number of special ride-outs on his customised Speedmaster, giving visitors the chance to ride alongside, have a chat about his love of bikes and explore the local area.”

Tickets to the summer’s hottest festival are priced at just £28 each and are selling fast, so fans are advised to book early. To find out more about Triumph Live 2014, go to: http://www.triumph-live.com/
