What is it?

Every Reevu helmet contains a unique, and internationally patented vision system than ‘bends’ light around the inner shell of the ECE22-05 / DOT / ACU approved lids. Developed over 20 years, the Reevu has gained fans around the world on road and track.

How does it work?

A reflective polycarbonate plate reflects light from the rear ‘window’ to a small adjustable polycarbonate mirror in the top of the helmet’s aperture. Besides allowing the rider to see directly behind themselves, this plate has been specially designed to act as a crumple zone in the event of an accident.

What’s the benefit?

Even the best mirrors fitted to a motorcycle can’t show you everything that’s behind – from pedestrians approaching while you’re stuck in busy city traffic, through aggressive drivers to emergency vehicles, the Reevu system offers more information on your surroundings than was possible before.

What other features does it have?

The Reevu MSX1 has a plush, removable lining and ratchet chin strap, which combines the convenience of a belt-buckle, with the day-to-day adjustability of a double D-ring.

The quick-release ratchet-action visor can be knocked open slightly for easy demisting, and the helmet uses two closable vents, as well as the ‘chimney’ effect of the rear-view system for air-flow control.

Is it for me?

The unbreakable mirror in the front of the helmet is adjustable both for angle and height, to allow for most rider’s preferred position. After an hour or so of riding, a biker should become accustomed to the new sense afforded to them, with their natural peripheral vision helping them to see changes in the mirror’s view. A quick glance up into the mirror – in exactly the same way as you would in a car – gives confirmation of any vehicles that have come up behind.

The helmet is available in sizes XS (53m) to XXL (63cm), in Blackmetal, Black Matt and Carbon Graphic colourways.
