Chinese motorcycle brands are definitely making their mark, with an increasing number of well-built, competitively priced bikes entering the market each year. And as anyone with an Apple iPhone can tell you, when China wants to make something high-quality, it absolutely can.

The latest example is the Voge DS625X adventure bike, which stands out with an impressive on-the-road price of £5,999—a tempting offer in today’s climate. But it’s not just about price. The bike features a 581cc Euro 5+ parallel twin engine producing 63bhp, and comes equipped with a slipper clutch, switchable traction control, rider modes, and a 7” colour LCD dash that links to your phone via Bluetooth.
On the chassis side, you get Nissin brakes with wave discs, fully-adjustable KYB suspension with a remote reservoir rear shock, and Metzeler Tourance tyres. At 206kg dry, it’s a little on the heavy side, but it’s packed with equipment: centre stand, engine bars, sump guard, handguards, rear rack, and fog lamps.

It even includes a built-in forward-facing HD video camera that records in 1080p to an SD card. All in all, it’s a lot of bike for the money and well worth considering if you’re in the market for a value-packed adventure machine.
