Royal Enfield’s Slide School returns for 2025 – and it’s bringing something very special with it: the all-new FT450 flat track bike, based on the upcoming Guerrilla 450 platform. And the only place you can ride it? Right here, on the dirt oval with Dirt Craft, run by multi-time UK and European Flat Track Champion Gary Birtwistle.
Learn to Slide with the Best
Taking place at Leicester Speedway and Iwade Speedway (Kent), the Royal Enfield Slide School is open to riders of all abilities, offering expert coaching in the art of flat track riding. Whether you’ve never ridden a dirt oval or you’re looking to hone your craft, the course is designed to build confidence, boost bike control, and help you find your flow on loose surfaces — in a supportive, relaxed environment.
And this year’s standout bonus? Riders get the exclusive chance to throw a leg over the FT450 — a machine you can’t buy, but definitely can experience.

What is the FT450?
Built from the bones of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, the FT450 is a purpose-built flat tracker using the all-new Sherpa 450 engine, the same liquid-cooled single found in the Himalayan 450.
The FT450 packs a throaty full-system exhaust, FuelX for a sharp, dirt-ready throttle response, and custom flat-track bodywork for improved control and rider movement on the oval. The upgrades continue with:
- Custom hubs & 18-inch rims
- Tailored flat track rubber
- Modified handlebar setup for maximum leverage
- Custom graphics kit that embodies the spirit of Slide School
While the FT450 is not heading to dealers, the Guerrilla 450 is, and riders can add a Flat Track GMA Pack of accessories — including sump and radiator guards, bar-end mirrors and a stylish bench seat — worth £697 in total.
Guerrilla 450 – The Road-Legal Sibling
The Guerrilla 450, launching soon, is Royal Enfield’s new stripped-back street tracker. Using the 40bhp Sherpa motor and priced from just £4,850, it brings serious value to the urban roadster category.
Paired with the GMA Flat Track pack, it gives riders a hint of FT450 flavour for the road – with added protection and styling for those who want something different.
