Madrid, Spain – 28–30 November 2025: Madrid is set to host a landmark live auction of collector vehicles with a strong international flavour. MELVIN AUCTIONS, Spain’s first in-person auction house specialising exclusively in classic cars, supercars, youngtimers and historic motorcycles, is bringing together more than 250 unique lots in what promises to be one of the most exciting classic events of the year.
Among the standout two-wheeled treasures on offer is a remarkable collection of pre-war motorcycles, with a particular highlight for British enthusiasts:
- Norton 9 TT (rare)
- Norton 18 TT (legendary)
- Norton CS1 (iconic)

All from the 1920s, these racing-derived machines are celebrated milestones in the golden age of British motorcycle manufacturing and hold significant historical and collector value. Their presence at auction is certain to attract attention from dedicated enthusiasts across the UK and beyond.

Alongside these Norton legends, the catalogue also includes a selection of exceptional early motorcycles from continental Europe, such as a Monet-Goyon Z (1922), Terrot 175 L (1928), Triumph H (1917) and a Harley-Davidson C (1926) — each one a fine example of engineering excellence and design from the first half of the 20th century.
Perhaps the most unique piece in the sale is a De Dion-Bouton tricycle, one of the earliest motorised vehicles from the dawn of the automotive era. At the start of the 20th century, France led the world in automotive innovation, and this De Dion-Bouton model was celebrated for its superior engineering, lightweight construction and reliability — often outperforming four-wheeled cars of the time. It is not merely a vehicle, but a mechanical icon of the industrial revolution on wheels.
The auction will take place at RETROMÓVIL MADRID (IFEMA) — Spain’s leading classic motor show — and will follow a transparent, professional auction model: live bidding in the room, online or by telephone, with or without reserve price.
