SHARK and MotoGP™ have announced an all-new partnership that will see the launch of the first-ever official MotoGP™-licensed helmet collection, arriving for the 2026 season. The collaboration embodies MotoGP’s new brand promise — “Faster. Forward. Fearless.” — and marks a major move for both brands in the global racing market.

A racing-driven partnership

Since SHARK was founded in 1989, racing has been at the heart of the French manufacturer’s DNA. From Raymond Roche’s 1990 World Superbike championship to a total of 79 world champions wearing SHARK helmets over the years, the brand has built its reputation on performance, innovation and safety.

Today in MotoGP™, SHARK is represented by Johann Zarco (LCR Honda) and Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) — both premier-class race winners in 2025.

Why MotoGP™?

MotoGP™ is widely regarded as the most exciting sport on the planet — the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. Alongside Moto2™ and Moto3™, the championship delivers action across 22 circuits, 5 continents, and showcases cutting-edge engineering, aerodynamics, electronics, safety innovations and rider talent.

MotoGP™ is a true development laboratory, pushing the boundaries of two-wheel technology — making it an ideal partner for a racing-focused brand like SHARK.

What the collaboration includes

The partnership between SHARK and MotoGP™ will bring multiple benefits and a brand-new range for riders and fans:

• A full line-up of five official SHARK x MotoGP™ helmets

Launching in March 2026, the collection will include:

  • Two Aeron GP FIM #2 helmets, certified under the latest FIM 2026 safety standard
  • One Aeron, offering full Aeron GP performance but without the A2S spoiler system
  • The new Skwal Cup
  • The new Skwal Jet Cup, both unveiled at the 2025 Milan Show
• A deeper MotoGP presence for SHARK

The collaboration strengthens SHARK’s visibility in the world’s most broadcast motorcycle championship, reinforcing its long-standing status as a racing-led brand.

• Technical excellence and rider protection

The collection showcases SHARK’s expertise in achieving the highest levels of protection and safety — from professional riders to everyday road users.

Christophe Merkel, CEO of 2Ride, added:
“It’s an honour to create a collection that reflects the values of both SHARK and MotoGP™. Our mission is to design high-end helmets that meet the demands of MotoGP™ riders while remaining accessible to everyday motorcyclists.”
