Sharper, faster, Daytona 660…

Triumph has cranked up the Daytona 660 for 2026, delivering a host of updates that make this middleweight triple sharper, faster, and even more track-focused.

The headline upgrades include adjustable Showa front forks, a Showa rear shock with preload adjustment, and sporty Metzeler M9RR tyres, all designed to boost handling, grip, and confidence on both road and track.

Another big gain is the stock fitment of Triumph’s Shift Assist. Clutchless up-and-down shifts combined with a slip-and-assist clutch mean gear changes are set to be faster and smoother. The engine itself hasn’t changed in spec, but it’s still a headline grabber: the 660cc triple produces 94bhp at 11,250rpm, 69Nm of torque at 8,250rpm, and features a 12,650rpm redline, with 80% of torque available across the rev range. The triple throttle bodies and compact 3-into-1 exhaust keep that unmistakable Triumph soundtrack intact, while the induction and silencer upgrades ensure it meets Euro5+ standards.

Styling has also received a boost. For 2026, the Daytona 660 comes in three fresh colourways, including Sapphire Black, Aluminium Silver with Diablo Red accents, and Cosmic Yellow with Sapphire Black and red highlights, giving the bike a more aggressive, head-turning look. Triumph has also added a premium aluminium brake pedal with clear anodised finish, a small but standout detail showing the brand’s attention to quality.

Other tech and comfort upgrades include a full LED lighting setup, an updated TFT instrument cluster, and optional My Triumph Connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, music, and call control. Braking and handling get a boost too, with radial four-piston front calipers, twin 310mm discs, and braided brake lines ensuring precise stopping power.

Triumph is also leaning into the Daytona 660’s racing pedigree, with past success in CIV, IDM, and UK Pirelli National Sportbike series feeding directly into the new setup. The upgraded suspension, tyres, and Shift Assist take those lessons and translate them to the road, making the Daytona 660 sharper, more agile, and even more fun to ride.

The 2026 Daytona 660 will be in dealers from April 2026, priced from £8,995 on the road in the UK. Riders can also use Triumph’s Reserve My Triumph service to secure their preferred colour before launch.
