Blurring the lines between function and form, Triumph’s new retro reprobate looks to be something truly special

Triumph has whipped the covers off the 2027 Speed Twin 1200 TFC, the latest model to wear its prestigious Triumph Factory Custom badge. Limited to just 750 individually numbered motorcycles worldwide, the new machine takes the already impressive Speed Twin 1200 RS and dials up the exclusivity with premium components, bespoke styling and sharper sporting intent.

Finished in a striking Obsidian Gold paint scheme, the TFC is dripping with high-end touches. Carbon fibre mudguards, side panels and heel guards are paired with gold fork lowers, a gold drive chain, machined bar-end mirrors and a black leather and suede seat, while each bike comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and bespoke indoor cover.

Performance upgrades match the visual drama. Triumph has fitted fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, low-set clip-on handlebars, rearset footpegs and twin Akrapovič titanium silencers, giving the Speed Twin a more focused riding position and an even fruitier soundtrack. Power still comes from Triumph’s charismatic 1,200cc High Power Bonneville twin, producing 105PS and 112Nm, while modern rider aids include Triumph Shift Assist, Optimised Cornering ABS, cornering traction control and three riding modes. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema calipers and a radial master cylinder, while Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres promise plenty of grip to match the chassis upgrades. Priced from £18,495 OTR, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC is available to reserve now, with first deliveries expected in October 2026.
