Project – Kawasaki GT750 (Z750-P1) 1982 Shaft Drive 42,612 miles
Last time this bike was MOTed was in 1997 some 22 years ago since then its done just 412 miles, its been in storage all that time, as you can see from the pictures its been looked after.
The carburettors have been overhauled, all the jets cleaned, new gaskets to the float bowls etc, new stainless allen screws to the carbs and as a result the bike fires up and runs.
Also has fresh oil, new air filter and a new battery fitted.
The bike will need a new set of tyres, back is perished, front is unused but I have no idea how old it is, I think it would be safer to replace it rather than use it
There’s play in the rear wheel bearing this will need replacing as well for the mot
Front and rear brakes need striping and cleaning, there’s no pressure in the lines at the moment as the brakes where sized on, it now free wheels ok
Exhaust system in generally in good order, one clamp is missing from the silencer causing a leak, most likely the silencer has been taken off and not been put back on properly.
Headlight Fairing – comes with a colour matched fairing , (not currently fitted) , it’s not original and I feel the bike looks better without it , however it will need a new set of headlamp brackets if you want to pu the bike back to original or the fairing can go back on, it’s just four bolts, your choice.
Paint work has various chips and marks around the bike, its is a 38 year old bike after all.
The LCD display is still working but the right top corner the screen has gone dark.
V5 / logbook in my name and I also have the original service manual to go with it.
The bike will need collecting by van or trailer
The bike is located in Raunds, Northants NN9 6JE, 1.5 hours from north London, 1 hour from Birmingham
Bank transfer or cash on collection please
