Summary

It is difficult to overstate the amount of work, time and love that has gone into this bike. Thousands of pounds have been spent creating this work of art. The endless list of custom parts fitted make this an impressive investment in its own right. However, the build was not only about form but function as well. The original 1959 Triumph Tiger is also now a reliable every day classic ride. A simply stunning, but practical example of what a custom bike should look and ride like.

The original frame has been professionally fabricated into a hardtail. The results are impressive. At the rear is chrome hub, Avon tyre and one piece combined bullet rear tail & brake light. Gorgeously crafted rose joints hold it all together at the rear end.

In the middle, under the one-off intricately crafted suede single seat with hand stitched pattern is a specially built aluminium Maltese Cross oil tank finished in copper.

The chrome springer front end is a visual masterpiece wonderfully complimenting the classic sportster fuel tank with its Aero filler cap. The front end is brilliantly finished with a single bottom-mount Bates headlamp. A timeless classic Halcyon mirror along with a white-faced miniature speedo all attached to fully chromed drag bars completing a cable free look.

Engine

What an engine. Two hundred miles ago the original 650cc T110 was upgraded to an outstanding Morgo 750cc Big Bore conversion. The conversion is well known among the tuning & custom community, improving throttle response, low down torque as well as top end.

The slick shift gearbox mated to the converted engine was rebuilt at the same time. A new clutch and magneto completed the overhaul guaranteeing usability.

The result of all this love and attention has given this beauty a smooth and sumptuous ride.  It is impossible not to get noticed for the shear beauty of this bike. However, if that was not the case then the glorious noise coming out of the bespoke polished shotgun exhausts will announce your arrival. Loud & clear.

Wheels, Tyres and Brakes

Hand made chrome laced Borrani wheels at both ends wrapped in Avon radial tyres keep this chopper on the road looking superb. A Bultaco front brake and rose jointed rear brakes rods that, not only look fantastic, do a terrific job of bringing this beast to a safe top.

Climb aboard!

When settling in to the one off suede flame stitched seat you will notice how tidy everything looks. Focusing the build on practicality means all the controls feel accessible and ready.

Whether poodling around town or giving it some beans on a dual carriageway the custom feels planted, inspiring confidence. The engine pulls smoothly and that exhaust….wow. The whole package not only looks the part it rides well too.

Additional Information

This is a very rare opportunity to own a truly one-off custom-built machine. The meticulous owner ensured the build was superb as well as ensuring ongoing maintenance was taken care of by being looked after by Ace Classics of South London.

The Triumph has travelled a thousand miles in the last five years.

As we said previously we cannot overstate the quality of the build, the love that has been lavished on it and the fun and pride you will have owning and enjoying a stunning bike like this.
