Reviewed by: Tony Carter RRP: Silicon Shine (500ml – £6.99) / Foam Fresh (400ml – £5.99)
Muc-Off is a name that you’ll know if you’re serious about cleaning your bikes. I’m not that serious about cleaning bikes, it has to be said, so I am very aware of Muc-Off because it makes life simple.
I’ve been using the Silicon Shine spray on my own bikes for nearly a year now and the highly delightful cherry smell when I do spray it on liberally is as pleasant as the shine is shiny.
It’s safe for use on all paints, plastics and rubbers, and actively helps to reduce dirt build up on treated parts. For soft materials like seats (and even helmet liners and the bits you can’t remove from the outer shell) Foam Fresh is the one to go for.
Spray it on and then wipe it off and the muck, dirt and grime go with it. Good stuff that works well.
