The Packtalk Bold is Cardo’s top of the range communications system – and it’s as well equipped as you’d imagine. You can pair it to any Bluetooth headset, stay connected with up to 15 other riders at once, and it’ll even let you make and answer phone calls, listen to FM radio and stream music and GPS instructions straight from your smartphone. It’ll work over a distance of 1600 metres, and offers a claimed talk time of 13 hours.

Packtalk Slim

Much like the Packtalk Bold, Cardo’s Slim is a seriously well-equipped bit of kit. It’s essentially just a slimmed down version of the full fat Bold unit – and as such it’ll do everything the standard model does, aside from transmitting up to a distance of 1600 metres.

Cardo says this is the most advanced single-rider Bluetooth headset, and it now has rider-to-passenger functionality. You get 40mm speakers, Bluetooth 4.1, and universal connectivity.

Cardo Systems 45mm Audio Set

That’s not all – Cardo Systems and JBL have also recently announced its all-new 45mm Audio Set. It’s essentially an accessory kit which combines hardware engineered speakers and software to deliver an ‘unmatched audio experience for motorcyclists’, no matter whether playing music, taking phone calls, or communicating with other riders.

The Audio Set features a pair of 45mm speakers with a narrow 42mm base, so it should comfortably fit most modern helmets. The larger speakers provide deeper bass and a rounder, more natural overall sound. Equipped with a standard 3.5mm jack, the kit can be used with Cardo’s full range of legacy products, as well as products from other motorcycle communication brands.
