Motorcycle fans were given a rare treat ahead of Silverstone when they had the opportunity to ‘Meet The Champions’ in Gloucestershire. Tewkesbury based motorsport supplier, Pro-Bolt arranged for Marc VDS Moto 2 riders Mika Kallio, Tito Rabat and Moto 3 rider, Jorge Navarro, to spend the evening with the Cotswold Bike Riders and get close up to see the championship bikes whilst raising money for both Midland Air Ambulance and ‘Riders for Health’.
Speaking at the event both Tito Rabat and Mika Kallio cited the other as their biggest competition, which we saw clear evidence of in the race at Silverstone on Sunday. Talking about his relationship with Pro-Bolt, Marc VDS Team Principal said that for him, “Weight is everything and Pro-Bolt are able to do special things for them, as a result of the long term relationship they have established.”

Pro-Bolt Managing Director, Louisa Harker, explained that in Gloucestershire particularly bikers love their ride out nights and so combining an opportunity to raise money for charity with the chance to meet racing champions made complete sense. “We appreciate the support given to us by all our partners in making the event a success, including Ben Wilson, Gearlink Kawasaki British Supersport Champion, Aaron Zanotti, British Superbike Championship Rider and Billy McConnell, Smiths (Gloucester) Team, British Supersport Championship Rider.
