Carbon-energised material is claimed to be a real game changer for anyone involved in active outdoor pursuits. Those used to wearing 100% polyester garments will apparently notice the difference in five key areas: Temperature Control, Breathing, Heart Rate, Lactic Acid build up and Fit. Here are the manufacturer’s claims…
Temperature Control  Excellent breathable properties of the fabric mean that the variations in body temperature is three times lower.

Breathing During exercise there is a respiratory advantage from the fabric  which reduces the amount of oxygen required for a given amount of work.

Heart Rate This can be lowered by as much as four beats per minute for someone wearing a carbon-energised shirt.

Lactic Acid Build Up The concentration of lactic acid in capillary blood as a result of exercise can be 12% lower than average.

Fit All Moto One’s carbon-energised garments are produced using seamless technology to form an effective ‘second skin’. By using a special knitting process, each item provides optimum support in strategic areas helping to protect muscle groups and enhance movement control over a range of sporting activities.

Moto One underwear is made from Polypropylene Dryarn® (85%), Elastan (10%) and carbon-energized fabric, using real carbon thread (5%). The result is a thermo-active material;  the more heat and moisture the body creates during exercise the more the energised carbon opens the molecules in the fabric to release that heat and moisture, additionally the fabric fibres do not absorb liquid so never feel wet. Conversely, the colder it is on the outside, the more the molecules are closed up to trap a layer of warm air next to the skin. As carbon is also an efficient filter medium, the fabric is hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-mold and therefore has no unpleasant odor during and after use.

The Moto One Carbon-Energized range will initially comprise short (£59.99 SRP) and long sleeve under shirts, one with zip collar (£64.99 SRP) and one without (£69.99 SRP), long pants (£64.99 SRP) and boxers (£34.99 SRP). Sizes range from S to 3XL.
