We reported on this clever design of rain suit a few months ago, but sadly it failed to reach its goal. Now it’s back, and the makers claim the Funnell is better AND cheaper than before.

It’s a backpack that can protect you from the sudden rain – a jacket that can be worn without removing the rucksack from your shoulder, can eject from the pack and be worn even while continuing to ride (though this doesn’t sound too safe!).

Funnell evolved over the years from the need to stay dry in unexpected rainstorms while being active. A backpack with a quick and easy mechanism to pull out a built-in jacket was the solution. The jacket covers the backpack so that you and your belongings stay dry and in style.
