Adding to the huge list of new-for-2015- features, a new windscreen (still electronically adjustable), now incorporates a new directional vent.  Adjustable in two open positions, it eradicates low-pressure areas in the cockpit area and offers better air-flow characteristics over the rider’s helmet.

To further enhance the rider friendly character of the GTR, Keyless ignition, KTRC advanced traction control, Tyre Pressure Monitors, power mode settings an Economical Riding Indicator and adjustable heated handlebar grips each deliver a carefree ride in any conditions. The 12V DC outlet allows the rider to charge a mobile phone or GPS on the go and the handy glove box with an electromagnetic lock offers safe storage of small items.

The slim and rigid aluminium monocoque frame works in harmony with the high quality suspension and linked front and rear braking system with K-ACT ABS.  The adjustable inverted 43mm front suspension and remote preload adjuster rear shock offer adjustability while radial mount Nissin caliper supplies smooth, assured stopping power.  Completing the package is the unique Tetra-Lever drive system which reduces the unwanted lifting or squatting “shaft drive effect” when accelerating.

Standing apart from the rest, the 1400GTR features integrated 37 litre colour-coded panniers as standard plus optional 47 litre top case, underlining the 1400GTR’s long-distance capacity.  Furthermore, no distasteful brackets are needed for mounting the luggage system onto the bike as, like all 2015 Kawasaki models, the 1400GTR features a clean mounting system which allows panniers to be fit directly to the grab rail and footpeg supports. Yet another practical feature is the One-Key system which is standard on all genuine luggage.

Discover the 2015 model and enjoy the ride, alone or in the company of another.  Expanding horizons or enjoying familiar roads has never been so accessible and satisfying. The uprated 1400GTR has been conceived and constructed to go the distance in comfort and style.
