Long Way Down picture collection to be auctioned by Bonhams in Las Vegas

Bonhams has announced that part of its motoring ephemera collection at their Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction will include a large photographic exhibit of actors Ewan McGregor’s and Charley Boorman’s Long Way Down motorcycle journey.

The 32-piece, professionally matted and framed collection of pictures originally provided by Big Earth Productions, producers of Long Way Down and Long Way Round, captures scenes of the duo’s nearly three-month, 9,000 mile odyssey taken in 2007, most of which was through Africa. Estimated at $5,000-$7,000 (£3,200-4,500), profits from the sale will go to UNICEF. Click here for more information on this collection.
