The 2021 Tokyo Motorcycle Show is the latest event to fall victim to COVID-19.
Most of 2020 motorcycle shows have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the hope that next year would be different has been quashed as the 2021 Tokyo Motorcycle Show announces its March show will not go ahead.
The show would have been the 48th running of the event in Japan, but organisers have taken the decision to cancel the event to protect public health.
The motorcycle show will now take place in 2022, though dates are yet to be confirmed.
We are yet to hear if the Tokyo Motorcycle Show will emulate Motorcycle LIVE by hosting a virtual version of the show. The Birmingham event confirmed that many of the big names from the motorcycle industry will be attending, with virtual and creative content and several unveilings.
