Sinnis Motorcycles has launched a new machine; the SP125.
Based on a Yamaha YBR, the 125cc motorcycle is designed for commuting, making 9.5bhp @ 8000rpm from the four-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled 124cc engine and 5-speed gearbox. A seat height of 760mm and a dry weight of 114kg make it a manageable size for most riders.
The new street bike from Sinnis features a single disc brake on the front and a drum on the rear, an 11 litre fuel tank and telescopic front forks.
As part of its rigorous testing program of new models, the Sinnis team rode an SP125 over 3200 miles across Europe to the North of the Czech Republic.
“We had no issues with the SP, except needing to change a spark plug in Germany on the way back to England. It was a great trip and really gives us confidence in the quality of our products” said Mike Garrod from Sinnis
Priced at £1199 + OTR costs, the SP comes with a two-year comprehensive parts warranty and is available in blue or red.
