Last year Feridax – under the brand Shoei – launched “LiveUnstoppable”, a charity brand which raises money to support worthy causes within the Motorcycle Industry. The charity was initially started up to support The Simon Andrews’ Fund which began in 2014.

The fund was set up by Simon’s family to financially support rehabilitation for injured riders. This was a cause very close to Simon’s heart, he knew first-hand how difficult it was for riders to regain their strength and fitness and be able to return to racing as soon as possible – most riders have to fund their own rehabilitation.

More than £10,000 was raised last year with £5,000 being donated to the Hyperbaric Chamber in the Isle of Man – £2,000 of which helped to pay for Shoei Rider, James Ellison’s treatment when he suffered injury at the BSB Championship at Brands Hatch last year. The fund also helps other Charity organisations, including the Air Ambulance who received nearly £4,000.
