At the end of August Guy Martin is going to pilot the Triumph Rocket Streamliner in an attempt on the Land Speed Record, it’ll mean the Lincolnshire truck mechanic will have to do at least 377mph twice to bag the record, the attempt will be held on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

The Streamliner will make 1000bhp and is powered by two Triumph Rocket III, 2.4 litre engines.

Here’s some exclusive video of Guy trying out the Streamliner for size for the very first time.
