KTM 1290 Super Duke GT new picture from final testing!

Another picture of the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT has surfaced, showing for the first time with our Dutch friends at Oliepeil – and this picture gives us the best idea yet of how the riding position has changed against the original super naked from the Austrians.

From the picture it’s easy to see that on the softer, more everyday and mileage-friendly sport tourer that the handlebars are higher, the seat looks slightly bigger, the petrol tank has been re-shaped and the screen is about chest height.

The pre-production model here is clearly going through final stages testing and the revised bodywork is still in camo colours.

The new bike will be shown for the first time properly at the EICMA motorcycle show in November. It will sit alongside the current 1290 Super Duke R in the range.
