Philippines kid makes own ‘Panigale’ – and does a good job of it!
So what bike would you think this was, if you walked past it parked up?
Yep, we didn’t realise this either, but this is actually a 150cc Yamaha SZ-R. Built up by a kid to look like a Panigale.
The owner is Criss Catacutan from the Philippines, he’s called the bike ‘Dora’ (no, we don’t know why) and says that the project took four months to complete and cost about £5k in total.
Seems like a lot of cash, but there’s no denying that the kid wanted a Panigale-lookalike and he went out and made a Panigale-lookalike. Did a pretty good job of it, too.
