Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy… here’s some amazing news from Bimota. It’s coming thick and fast from the Italian company today in a flurry of information ahead of next week’s Milan motorcycle show – and this bit of news is pretty special.

Here it is; Bimota is going to release its new ‘hyper-naked’ model that can come with a carbon-fibre tubes frame, a carbon-fibre swingarm AND a supercharger.

Yep. Called the Bimota Impeto, the bike will be powered by the Ducati Testastretta DS engine, so WITHOUT the firm’s supercharger fitted, the bike will make 162bhp. Add a supercharger to that and it’s going to be knocking on for in excess of 180bhp.

There’s no pictures of the bike yet but Bimota is saying that you can buy the bike as the base model and then add either the ‘Bimota Experience Kit’ which swaps the alloy frame for one with carbon-fibre tubes and swaps the alloy swingarm for an entire carbon one. You can also add the ‘Bimota Supercharger Kit’ which, well… you know what that adds.

We’re properly excited by this bike. What do you reckon to the news that Bimota is building the super-nasty, hyper-naked uber streetfighter using Ducati power?
