KTM launches Special Edition 1290 Super Duke R in Milan.

Basically, it’s a standard Super Duke R with a load of bolt-on bits from the firm’s aftermarket brochure already bolted on.

The bike will be available for a limited time only, there’s no news yet about price or how many will be made, but it’s a fair bet that that it won’t be a high number of units churned out.

The bike gets an Akrapovic end can, wavey brake discs, stronger triple clamps, different levers, carbon/kevlar engine covers and a split seat. The model also gets special orange paint.
