Star Trek Beyond: First big trailer is an alien-world-freestyle-motocross-friendly first look (no, really)

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens about to hit cinemas across the world there’s a lot of global interest in sci-fi movies and today the first big trailer for the next Star Trek film has been released.

And, as you’d expect from the Star Trek crew in the action sequences taking place in the new Star Trek: Beyond trailer, there’s a bit in there with Captain Kirk doing a huge freestyle motocross jump on a four-stroke jump bike (with a BMW headlight fitted to it) on an alien planet. Yep. That’s what we thought too.

We’re taking a bit of licence with the bike description, it could be anything – we can’t make out the details but if you can then let us know, will you? Cheers. A couple more pictures below and, below those, the trailer in full for you to enjoy…. dude… gnarly etc….
