The Ballymoney rider and titleholder of the second fastest lap around the Isle of Man TT is the first announcement of many ahead of the July event, with more names from the hotly anticipated star line up to be publicised in coming weeks.

The 11 times TT race winner will take to the track in the Mallory Masters parade on an MV Agusta 500 Three, the machine famously rode by Giacomo Agostini, and now owned by John Chapman off Lincolnshire. Michael will also make guest appearances throughout the weekend.

This year’s event, organised by the circuit’s management team, Real Motorsport Limited, will not only be a celebration of all things bikes but will also be the celebration of 60 years of Mallory Park Circuit.

Natalie Hansard, Manager at Real Motorsport Ltd said: “We are really excited that Michael will be joining us for the Mallory Bike Bonanza in July and it will be great to see him taking to the track on such an iconic motorcycle. This is only the 3rd year of the Mallory Bike Bonanza so to have such a prominent personality signed up to attend only proves what a well-established event the Bonanza is becoming.

As Mallory Park turns 60 this year we want to commemorate the circuits successes from the past six decades, and with the Bike Bonanza being the biggest event on the calendar, it is fitting to celebrate our milestone birthday at this event.”

The Mallory Bike Bonanza will feature road bikes parades on Saturday and race bikes parades and ICGP races on Sunday, with a classic charity trial taking place on Saturday afternoon. Away from the track motorcycle owners clubs will return to Club Central promising to display a great array of motorcycles from many different manufacturers and eras. Also, the entertainment tent will be back with live music from local bands on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Entry forms for the parades are available to download through the Mallory Park website. Admission tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 4th March. Further details malloryparkcircuit.com
