2017 Yamaha R15 facelift mac-up appears in the emerging markets.

Indonesian website Peysblog has fired up this computer image of what it think the facelifted Yamaha R15 is going to look like.

This image certainly tallies with the blurry snapshot of a Yamaha being ridden at the firm’s Indonesian plant that we brought you a couple of weeks ago (we’ve put the image on the bottom of this article so that you can compare the artificial picture to the photo).

If indeed the new bike does end up looking like this artificial image then the smaller bike will go much more sporty in terms of riding position and get a R1-M-style make-over.

According to insiders in Yamaha, any work that is seen on the R15 is likely to be carried across to the R25/R3 larger capacity motorcycles too for 2017.
