Spanish firm makes cool chairs from old Vespas.

These amazing seats are the latest creation to come out of Spanish design house Bel & Bel – yep, they are funky office-style chairs made out of old Vespas.

Bel & Bel is a company run by Charles and Jesus Bel, the brothers come from the University of Barcelona and set up the company to turn bits of scooter headed for the scrapheap into works of furniture-art.

What do you reckon? Like them? We know a lot of scooter people who’d have one of these.

A pair of these BV-12 chairs are already in the Piaggio museum in Italy. No price is given for the chairs, it’s a price on application sort of thing.
