MSL is building a special Yard Built Yamaha XSR700 that you’ll be able to see on the Yamaha stand at 2016’s Motorcycle Live in the NEC. Intended to be a usable, achievable custom machine, this new technology will be one of the key features on the machine.

The headlight unit has solid-state gyros inside that control LEDs around the edges of the lamp, illuminating as the bike leans. Unlike some aftermarket units, the JW Speaker is DOT and ECE approved, drawing between 1.9A in low beam and 3.5A at maximum lean.
A standard 7” design that can be fitted to most suitable bikes, it costs £658.80. We’ll have an in-depth review and more over the coming months.
