If you’re looking for a cracking event to get to soon, head to the Coventry MotoFest 2016. It’s a brilliant event with race bikes and cars taking to the Coventry ring road to perform.

There’s a trio of awesome racebikes confirmed including Kevin Schwantz’s 1994 Suzuki RGV500 (pictured below), Michael Dunlop’s Team Classic Suzuki Xr69 and the Barry Sheene RG500 bike, all of which will take part at Coventry Motofest which runs from June 3 to 5.

The Coventry Motofest circuit:

The 1.5 mile long circuit will take in a section of the ring road beginning just before the slip road on Junction 6, before heading all the way down to Junction 4 and then returning back to finish at Junction 6.

The circuit’s official start line will begin at the slip road just before Junction 6, setting off into the new Friargate tunnel.

Continuing on they will negotiate chicanes before heading under Junction 5 toward the London Road before looping back on themselves heading back toward Junction 5 – again negotiating chicanes before taking the finish line just before the new Friargate tunnel back at Junction 6.

A paddock is being created on the ring road itself underneath Junction 8 at Holyhead Road, with a ‘turn around’ created by city engineers in the central reservation. Here’s a map of how it’ll run:
