Super hero motorcycle leathers go on sale in the States… no, we’re not making this up

Ok… so there’s fanboy suits and then there’s fanboy suits that are supposedly a set of leathers that you can ride a motorcycle in. Here’s three of the latter.

The two Batman suits and one Superman suit have been made by American firm UD Replicas. Chunky Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent wannabes who want to ride their bikes whilst playing superhero are well catered for with the suits being up to 4XL.

According to UD Replicas, the suits are 2mm cowhide fused behind a lycra stretch outer skin. They also say that the multiple flexible areas are stitched to a flexible anatomical ‘muscle’ structure.

Each of the suits come equipped with CE approved removable body armour panels and are homologated for street use in the States. The shiny ‘Dark Knight’ suit also uses outer Kevlar body armour panels.

The boots are also made from 2mm-thick cowhide with built in shin protection and injected rubber soles. There’s no plans to sell these suits outside of the USA but price-wise the Batman suits costs around $1,564 and the Superman suit goes for $1,396.
