My 2005 FZS100 Fazer might be getting on a bit, but I still want to keep it in good condition, so I decided to add some protectors in case I drop it. I started with the R&G fork protectors that are easy to fit and don’t cost the earth.
The whole process of fitting the protectors was very simple. I only made one mistake: I read the instructions. I’m not very technically minded, I admit that, but the instructions just didn’t make any sense to me. However, when I took all the bits from the packaging and went to the bike it was pretty obvious where everything went.
The whole operation took less than 10 minutes from start to finish (it really is just a matter of screwing a couple of rubber bits together).
The results look neat and hopefully will keep my bike from acquiring more scratches than it already has.
