Michael Dunlop took a superb victory in the Senior TT this afternoon.
The Hawk BMW rider set a new absolute lap record – breaking his own marker only set last Saturday in the RST Superbike TT Race – at 133.962mph.
He also set a new race record time for a six lap race on the Mountain Course.
Tyco BMW’s Ian Hutchinson was the second man home, 31.476 seconds down on Dunlop, while John McGuinness on the Honda Racing CBR was third, a further 31.046 back.
