Basking in glorious sunshine, this year’s Summer Auto Jumble proved to be one of the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum’s most successful events to date. With over 100 stalls, hundreds of visitors, and a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere, the day celebrated all things motorcycling – past and present.

At one point, our volunteers counted an impressive 302 motorcycles and 13 bicycles parked on site. The team worked tirelessly to direct and park the many vans, cars, and bikes, ensuring the day ran smoothly for everyone.

The stalls offered a treasure trove for enthusiasts and collectors alike – from rare parts and vintage memorabilia to clothing, books, and unique finds. Sammy himself enjoyed strolling among the stallholders, sharing stories, and enjoying the Irish ‘craic’ – the word meaning good conversation, laughter, and fun.

Special Guests and Regular Supporters
DocBike, a much-valued regular at Museum events, spent the day engaging with visitors about their dual mission: delivering critical roadside medical care and promoting preventative road safety education.

Also joining us was Iconic Auctioneers showcasing two bikes for their up-and-coming sale – a rare Montgomery restored by the Museum 10 years ago and a Triumph Twin.

Fuel for the Day
No event would be complete without good food, and Sammy’s Pit Stop café, alongside The Cabin in the Courtyard, kept visitors well-fed and refreshed, serving from early morning until the close.

Brownhills Family Supports Terminally Ill Biker’s Isle of Man TT Dream

A Brownhills family is rallying to help 50-year-old Anthony Byrne, a lifelong motorbike enthusiast living with terminal cancer, fulfil his dream of riding the iconic Isle of Man TT course.

Anthony’s brother, Vincent Pingram, launched a fundraising campaign on his milestone birthday, with their mother handcrafting and selling items at local events to boost donations and share his story.  The Museum was pleased to host the family at the auto jumble and be part of their campaign helping Anthony realise his dream.
